It appears Isaiah Mustafa is hitting critical mass. His hilarious, energy infused, Old Spice commercials has gathered enough fans that Old Spice, the company, continued the series.
We began this Mustafa post a few months ago. This was the first time his commercial gained popularity. Over the months we’ve gathered more information on the commercial and the man himself. It is time, faithful reader, for another post overload.

@OldSpice has taken the Internet social bull by the horns. On July 13, 2010(yesterday by today’s reckoning) Old Spice answered questions via Twitter on You Tube using their latest marketing sensation, Isaiah Mustafa.
They did this on the one day we were not on Internet. We’re pretty sure Old Spice hates us, personally, and committed this action out of spite. Despite their obvious hate*, we’ve collected a thoroughly scientific playlist(see: random clicks of famous people and funny Twitter Names) of Old Spice Guy’s answers to the Internet at large.
This is how you market on Internet, Big Corporations. Make a note.

Who watches a movie’s commentary right after the movie’s done? Who watches the on-set documentary and special effects videos ad nausea until all the cinema magicks are understood? We stand guilty on both counts. Special effects, TV trickery, and marketing are an interest of ours. So when Leo Laporte interviewed the writers of the Old Spice Guy’s “On a Horse” commercial, we took an interest and watched.
By the way, Isaiah Mustafa. All you want is to be on Howard Stern? Aim higher, mister.

Tobuscus made a rather catchy mashup of the Old Spice commercial. At the end, he mentions having curious feelings after looking at Mustafa’s abs for 6 hours editing the video. We laughed until we took an hour re-assembling this post. *Off to the gym now*
