The Expedition 18 ISS crew safely returned to Earth’s loving embrace in the Soyuz TMA-13 spacecraft yesterday. Yes, while the mainstream world comes to grips with the idea that geeks have been tweeting about their poo 3 years before Shaq and random US senators entered the equation, astronauts continue to do their jobs progressing humankind’s knowledge of the world and its place in the universe.
What you see above is the landing of Expedition 18 which is available for download in full wallpaper glory. The inset is Commander Fincke wearing a funky hat. And by “funky hat” we mean the “traditional Kazakh dress and hat in Karaganda.”
Editor’s Note: Just to be clear astronauts and cosmonauts are not averse to arguing over their poo, either.
