The silence of the work week is here. We sit here and ponder what is fun in life. What is worthy of sharing over the bliss of weekend? Animation, we think. Animation will soothe your savage week.
9 is a film by Shane Acker. It is dialogue free and was finished way back in 2005. The simplicity of it is what blew us away. Recent viewers of CORALINE my recognize the name and style from the trailer of 9 that you were shown before hand. That version has dialogue and the requisite amount of middle to high range celebrities adding their voices to the characters.
After viewing the initial version of 9, we aren’t sure if adding voice to what was already perfection in animation storytelling was the best idea. We *are* willing to give it the chance it deserves on 09-09-09.
