Crazy Ivan

All the fuss and hullabaloo over Terrible Ivan(I call him Crazy Ivan) has created and unexpected respite from my studies. That?s right gentle readers, I have returned to university. No big deal for you but trust me, it?s a hella big deal for me.

University is the reason I?ve been neglecting this area for so long. I haven?t quite figured out the load-balancing program of my life. It?s tons easier to drop in the errant post than to compose and proofread journal entries.

Today I?m taking advantage of my unexpected break and am going to pull my nose out of my textbooks for a few hours. I?m going to continue posting on the long overdue Groonk Trip misadventure and I dug up the digi-cam to document the effects Crazy Ivan is having on the fair city of Huntsville.

As of yesterday evening it?s been nothing but double rainbows and damn pretty sunsets.

Remember, if your stuck at work in north Alabama today, tell them that Ivan threatened your family. Any boss that scoffs at this is apparently and evil, evil minion of the devil.

P.S. All of you non weather fearing folks of Huntsville are in for a treat. AL Nightlife has announced the Renaissance Theater of Huntsville is having a “hurricane special.” That’s right, reduced tickets prices to the play “Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music.”

I know I was wondering if I’d ever get to see that gem. Thanks to Ivan, I can finally afford it.

The weather is a fine, fickle mistress.
