Two of my friends bought venus flytraps. You know, the plant that eats like an animal. Not at the same time, mind you, and certainly not together, but there they are. One bought it for the asthetics, the other for practical reasons. That one even caught a fly the other night.
Venus flytraps and Pitcher plants always fascinated me. I was in elementary school when I learned about them. A plant that eats “meat”. How neat is that. Then I saw “Little Shop of Horrors“.
I’m keeping an eye out for missing dentists, strange runs of incredibly good luck, and certain meat-eating plants of unsual size.
