Yet another French musical group brought to my attention by Sofia Coppola?s wonderfully quirky, ?Lost in Translation.?
I?m having trouble describing Phoenix?s sound accurately so I?ll let The Face magazine do it for me:
‘Undoubtedly the best post-French house, seventies Californian, country-rock concept album of modern love songs you’ll ever likely to hear.’
If all that means it?s a fucking good listen, I back their line of gibberish wholeheartedly.
