The Portland buzz

The Portland Mercury informs me that my favorite radio show of all time has been trounced, canned, disbanded, cancelled.

I happened upon the KNRK crew back in ’98 while I worked www.al.com‘s entertainment beat. I don’t think I could have gotten through a morning without their internet streamed funny. That was back when Bill Prescott was a part of the morning show with Daria O’Neill, before Entercom let him go, and Gustav worked the afternoon slot.

Hell I got a chance to met all of them while I was vacationing in the Northwest. Which was before The Powers That Be decided that streaming radio stations over the net was a “bad thing” and I was cut off from my morning funny. I did me best to keep up via sparse emails. Those sparse emails soon dropped off entirely. Sometimes that’s the way of things.

But if either Gustav or Daria reads this blog, please feel free to drop me a line.

Good luck in your future endeavours.
