In front of the TRANSFORMERS spectacle a trailer was screened. In this trailer you saw twenty something’s dancing about, partying their hearts out, not much of a care in this world.
Then the ATTACK.
We’re rushed up to the roof where we gawk, them in horror us(the audience with great interest) at something blowing the hell up in the horizon. Debris begins falling about the terrified partygoers ears and we follow them to street level where the head of the Statue of Liberty lands soundly in front of us.
Fade to black.
No title was ever seen, save the Bad Robot logo at the front of the mysterious trailer. The movie theater went silent for a heartbeat. I was thinking, “what in fuck did I just see!?”
Many sites are reporting similar experiences. Some guy recorded the trailer with his futurephone. The quality was horrible but it added to the weirdness of the thing. A shakey camera experience filming a shakey camera experience. I hear The Suits had that vid removed from You Tube. Again they want control of all the information.
