I feel as if I went slam dancing with a rhino. Do you think that?s possible? A rhino bashed into my apartment, saw me lying there peacefully and proceeded to bash the ever-loving hell out of my ribs.
No, I suppose that wouldn’t be probable.
Though, it would explain the state of my apartment.

People that drive a gas guzzling SUV and they put a flag on it, you know that’s like a whore wearing a roseary.
— Paul Gilmartin
Sidenote: Visions is the local strip gentlemen’s club here in Huntsville. Calling Visions a strip club is an affront to all proper strip clubs. You see more skin on VH1. Better proportioned, too.
It would seem that I’m full of quotes of late. I do have other bullshit written down and proofed, but I’m not in the sharing mood.
Maybe next week.

Many ideas grow better when transplanted into another mind other than the one where they sprang up

My favorite quote from the ton of quotes 7d shared today:
“A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time. When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, The one I feed the most.”
–George Bernard Shaw
And here are honorable mentions:
Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live, taking the form of readiness to die.
— G.K. Chesterton
Sometimes a majority only means that all the fools are on the same side.
–unknown
The future has many names: for the fearful it’s the unknown, for the reckless it’s the adventure, for the pessimists it’s the unattainable. For the brave, it is opportunity
–unknown
An artist avails himself to both the darkness and the light. A brave artist swims in the same water in which the personality of the psychotic drowns.

While flipping around VH1 the other day, I happened upon the end of the newest Surreal Life. The cameras were following Chyna through the hallways. Chyna finds a locked door. The door was bound with one of those hard plastic locks. With little to no effort, Chyna single handedly ripped that noise right off the handles and peeked inside.
Holy shit, that bitch scares me… and is strangely alluring.
On another day, I?m still watching VH1. This time it?s I Love the 90s Part Deux. Which is hella funnier than the previous I Love the 90s series.
So I?m watching the snarkiness of Michael Ian Black and wondering if this is his new career when Baby Spice pops on the screen.
I?m dumbfounded.
New questions grow in my mind. When exactly did Baby Spice become a hottie? What is her real name so I can find more on the new hotness that is Baby Spice? And why in fuck?s sake am I watching so much VH1?
Let?s say you time trip into the 90s amidst the peak of Spice Girl fever. Then let?s assume you put a gun to my temple and forced me to run down the list of my favorite Spice Girls. You would soon discover that Baby Spice hit rock bottom on that terrible list. That whole “I?m a little girl thing” never appealed to me(the catholic high school girl thing is a different story).
But nowadays?wow. Ms Bunton(I found her name after all) you aged like fine wine. Who knew Boone?s Farm could age well?

In the 60s people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.
In the animal kingdom, the rule is, eat or be eaten; in the human kingdom, define or be defined.
— Thomas Szasz
I’m unsure if Szasz actually said the top quote. But I’m willing to risk that he did.
