These are quotes from the introduction of The Sandman Compendium by Hy Bender. I’m re-reading it these days. Next will come the entire Sandman series. I just know it. Every single time I read those books, I get something new out of them.

I must know what pact was made or what god was killed to grant Neil Gaiman his storytelling mastery.
