Groonkly Bit

Bjork's new album

I want this sucker.

cover
Medulla, Bjork’s first new studio album in three years, finds her delving deeper than ever before into her haunting and exhilarating sound and vision. Innovative as always, Bjork has this time built the songs on Medulla entirely from vocal tracks, with no instruments appearing on the album, creating a soundscape unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. Special guests include Rahzel from The Roots, Mike Patton of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle, an Inuit throat singer, an Icelandic choir, the world’s greatest human beatboxes and more.

Too true

Dark, Twisted Little Conversations

Me: Wisdom and poverty seem to go hand in hand.

Dirt:?found your observation about poverty and wisdom to be quite accurate?Of course, I would have gladly given up this pearl of wisdom to have avoided the whole poverty thing. I guess that’s a choice I don’t get to make.

Me: We need to get rich and step on some little people. It’ll make us feel better.

Dirt: Is stepping on little people anything like stepping on bugs? Because I’ve always felt somewhat guilty about doing that…

Me: Stepping on little people is best done barefoot. That way you feel their tiny skeletons crackle and pop between your toes. Little people aren’t crunchy like bugs. I’d relate them to a weak sack of loose pebbles.

Guilt over bug death is understandable. Least those suckers are honest.
