A Dream of Wheels for Feet
Ten years ago, I never walked. This was a personal choice on my part. I wasn’t in a horrible accident or anything equally dramatic. Such accidents didn’t come until much later and even then I wasn’t doomed to “forever roll.”
Ten years ago I chose to rollerblade whenever I felt The Need™. Didn’t matter where it was. I rolled up and down the halls of the CCRH’s seven floors. I also glided around the campus’ 2 mile loop and when I grew bored of that, I began ducking and dodging inside parking lots and sidewalk paths. Nearly all of my campus glides ocurred between the midnight to 3 AM hours.
Tonight I had a dream. I was in a city that felt like Huntsville but was most assuredly not Huntsville. I was flying upright. I was ‘blading. My start and end point was unkown but in the middle, I was everywhere. I went down busy intersections, alongside country roads, in the rough for a fair sized chunk of the workout.
A couple of construction trucks kept blasting by me. Dousing me with leaves dirt and branches each time. While they were passing I stayed in the rough. I ‘bladed on dirt and grass.
I awoke feeling refreshed and oddly content. Now for all you folks who think that dreams of flying are dreams about sex I have one question. What does it mean when you dream about sex?
I really like my dreams.

That is the quote as 7d passed it to me. I ran a quick search and found 3 different versions. You gotta love the media.

My name spreads faster than rumor. It grows like kudzu in the summer months.
Powers/Abilities: The Groonk is exceptionally strong, and proved able to go toe-to-toe with Thor (Eric Masterson) for a short time. While his strength class range is unknown, he shows to be Class 25 or so. The Groonk also has the ability to emit a powerful ray from his eyes, which has the ability to down Thor and temporarily sap him of his strength. The Groonk has limited speech (and likely intellect), and can only say it?s own name.
Where are my eye beams? Did my mutant power not get the chance to kick in? There were plenty of times I coulda used eye beams. I can tell you that for nothing. Nobody messes with a guy who has eye beams in his arsenal. Unless they have eye beams, are eye beam resistant, or are deeply stupid.
