They are not wrong.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nIt has been nearly ten years since the release of the final issue of TRANSMETROPOLITAN, the Eisner-nominated comics series from writer Warren Ellis and artist Darick Robertson. We have approached Mr Ellis and Mr Robertson about<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/1329794677\/the-transmetropolitan-art-book\" class=\"external external_icon\"> putting together a brand new art book of original images, and we&#8217;re happy to report both of the co-creators will be participating<\/a> in this project, donating a brand new cover and a foreword for the book!<\/p>\n<p>TRANSMETROPOLITAN combines black humor, political scandal, and moral ambiguity to look into the gonzo mind of an outlaw journalist and The City he inhabits. Aided by his embattled Editor and his two Assistants, the protagonist blazes a path through a futuristic world of skyscrapers and technological wonders, dark alleys and unspeakable depravity. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you&#8217;re unsure as to what Transmet is why not <a href=\"http:\/\/dccomics.com\/vertigo\/graphic_novels\/?gn=1719\" class=\"external external_icon\">read the first issue for free <\/a>courtesy of DC Comics.<\/p>\n<p>Why should you fund this project? <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nOur goal is to raise $100,000 to be donated* to the <a href=\"http:\/\/cbldf.org\/\" class=\"external external_icon\">Comic Book Legal Defense Fund<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heroinitiative.org\/\" class=\"external external_icon\">Hero Initiative<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <strong>CBLDF <\/strong>helps creators fight against artistic censorship.
