Moment of Who: All the Strange Creatures Dancing Like Peanuts Characters

Here we see the second time we have been happy to see a Silurian in the Whoniverse.

For the first time please reference the inter-species lesbian Victorian detective couple from the Dr Who mid-season cliffhanger, “A Good Man Goes to War.”

Moment of Who: Back to the Whoniverse, Run for it Rory!

From Deviant artist, CeeNot, we bring you the 11th Doctor, Rory, and Amy in the Back to the Future-verse. People seem to like mixing The Doctor with Marty McFly.

Moment of Who: The Teams of Three, Power Trios on the Move

Here it is and here we go. Below this text is three representations of the current Whoniverse Power Trio for your amusement and enjoyment.

Charlie Brown Who Returns
Larry Wentzel inspired by Hijiinks Ensue’s “Last of the Time Lords Charlie Brown(which was also featured here) drew up Rory, Amy and The Doctor in Schultzian style. Amy Pond as that little red-haired girl makes so much sense now. Wentzel has continued to Schultzify the Whoniverse on his Deviant Art.

Rory the Roman, The Girl Who Waited, and The King of Okay!
Ghostey‘s take on The 11th Doctor and Team Pond as chibi characters was too cute not to recognize.

the oncoming storm(s)
To complete the hat trick of three we found these representation of the 9th, 10th, and 11th Doctors just hanging out and being cool. The 9th Doctor being the base of this tower of power makes crazy sense to us. Him being the most stable of the three(at least we think so). Be sure to check out the 11th wearing a shark as a hat. He wears a shark now. Sharks are cool.

Moment of Who: Watch SPACE/TIME, Dr Who ‘Red Nose Day’ Mini-Episode

This year’s Comic’s Relief Red Nose Day was once again brought to you by the Grand Moff himself, Steven Moffat.

We love it when he gets all timey wimey wibbley wobbley.

We also love it when Mofffat asks the questions that all hard-core geeks undoubtedly get into fights over at 3 in the morning on Friday nights. He is truly One Of Us.

Moment of Who: Bill Mudron’s Doctor Cat in the Hat with Pond Things

The Cat in the Hat Came Back (eventually)

I read a recent criticism of the Moffat-era of Doctor Who being a glorified version of The Cat in the Hat, to which I couldn’t help but think…well….”duh”.

Whoever thought calling the 11th Doctor the Cat in the Hat would be a damning criticism needs to go back in time and have their sense of whimsy re-installed. Artist Bill Mudron is right. Moffat’s Doctor is closer to Peter Pan. Although both comparisons are a little bit of awesome.

You can buy yourself a print over on Mudron’s website.

Mr and Mrs Pond and The Doctor: Have Yourself a Merry Little WhoMas

You may have noticed, faithful reader, that we’ve been a bit scarce on our home-base Internets. There has been fair to middlin chattiness on our Twitterspace(see also to the right of this post) but nothing of substance on GNET central.

This won’t change much until the new year. Don’t despair. There will be mini-posts to fill out the empty spaces beginning today.

Below lay Arthur “Rory” Darvill(on piano), Karen “Amy Pond” Gillan(displaying wonderful pipes), and Matt “The Doctor” Smith(being thankful he’s a wonderful actor) having fun with an old Christmas tune.
