Physicist Brian Cox(who was a science consultant on Danny Boyle‘s lovely project SUNSHINE) hosts the BBC’s Wonders of the Universe which looks like a fantastic four part series about life, the universe and everything in it. Currently it’s only aired in the United Kingdom. This is a damn shame. Hey, History Channel/Discovery Channel/The Learning Channel! Why don’t we get awesome looking shows like this imported onto USA television?!

You could easily replace one of your silly shows like MonsterVision, Ancient Aliens or I-thought-I-Saw-a-Ghost-One-Time-but-it-Turned-Out-it-was-Just-a-Cat-in-Heat.
