Lack of funds denied us the ability to cover SDCC 2010 in person. Luckily, some of our favorite geek news sites, and Twitter feeds, did a damn good job of covering all the bases. Rather than repost every damn thing we found interesting, why not browse through there special SDCC sections.

Official Synopsis

What We Learned:
It’s been off and on You Tube for a few hours/days now. Somehow it has stabilized enough for folks to embed the sucker.
Why We’re Gonna Watch:
Nice to see you again Agent Phil Coulson. Your character’s becoming a real Ensemble Darkhorse in our book. Before the trailer we were gonna watch THOR because it was a Marvel Studios film. Now having seen the thing in action, our interest level has jumped up a few clicks.
If the trailer’s not viewable by the time you watch this just run a Google or Twitter search. Or just wait a while. The full-on marketing campaign can’t be far off. After some of the geek grumblings we’ve seen over the released costume photos we suspect this “leak” was the result of a marketing plan.

This teaser says 2011. Other sources claim 2012. Conflicting reports are a headache and troublesome. Maybe between now and then they’ll work out their business.

Born from that little movie GRINDHOUSE back in 2007, MACHETE has traveled a long strange road. Going from joke horror trailer, to greenlighted movie, to becoming that Robert Rodriguez movie that’s cast nearly every damn body in Hollywood. We’re not kidding. Check out this cast list.
While we do want to see it, we’re not exactly chomping at the bit to get in line.
We dropped the trailer below the cut. It being redband and all. Filled with topless ladies and gruesome escape routes. Don’t blame us if you get fired for watching.
