More handy free stuff from Ponzoo. This time in the form of loop tracks and graphics.

Cue Pop

Ponzoo delivers more useful goods. This time involving music that’s free for use in that short or feature film you’ve been thinking about making.

We offer a very unique service here at CuePop&174;.com, other than giving you the opportunity to use music for absolutely no charge. We do not simply produce and supply “factory” library music. Instead we provide you, the consumer, with access to a database that many Top Composers are continuously contributing high quality professional music to.

Mystery Net

MysteryNet talks about the classic radio show “The Shadow.” A concept and story that I’ve always liked. But I’ve never heard any of the original series.

“Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!” The opening lines of the “Detective Story” program captivated listeners and are instantly recognizable even today. Originally the narrator of the series of macabre tales, the eerie voice known as The Shadow became so popular to listeners that “Detective Story” was soon renamed “The Shadow,” and the narrator became the star of the old-time mystery radio series, which ran until 1954.

Japanese Slang

Not sure how accurate the Japanese slangs you won’t find in a dictionary is. You might want to run these by your japanese speaking friends first. Here are a few words that caught my scanning eye:

chin suru: Microwave it.

dasai: It means “lame.” Commonly, it is pronounced, “dassee.” Also, combined with “cho (extra-ordinary),” you could say, “cho-dassee (extra-ordinary lame).”

iku dei: It means, “I’m going.” And you need to say it quite enthusiastically for it to sound right.

nanja korya?: It means, “What the hell is this?” It implies a deep confusion.

Shared by Ponzoo

This collection is free and open for everyone to use.

Our goal in digitizing these movies and putting them online is to provide easy access to a rich and fascinating core collection of archival films.

By providing near-unrestricted access to these films, we hope to encourage widespread use of moving images in new contexts by people who might not have used them before.

Fucking excellent:
